I’m pleased to tell you that we have our first sponsor on board for the #digihealthcon, the all-together fabulous UKGovCamp!

I found a page on the UKGovCamp website where they invited people planning interesting public sector/ involvement projects to apply for funding (you could do this too- see http://grants.ukgovcamp.com/apply/). I didn’t need much of a push-  I dashed off an email, and…

Bingo! within 24 hours, a fantastic offer of sponsorship arrived!

UKGovCamp blogged about our event on their site (please see http://grants.ukgovcamp.com/2012/03/14/digital-health-conference-and-hack-2012/ and I have left a comment there to keep the good folks updated about our progress.

Starting off on this journey was quite frightening. I had very few resources, but big plans. Without the help I have been fortunate enough to receive from UKGovCamp, and our other supporters, #digihealthcon might not have got off the ground. So, my sincere thanks and appreciation go out to Steph at UKGovCamp for seeing the potential of what we hope to achieve.

And my challenge is this- if I can do this, it means you can, too!

All our sponsors and supporters are listed on our dedicate sponsors page, please see https://digihealthcon.wordpress.com/sponsors/
